The Kabaddi Association of Kuala Lumpur (KAKL) will hold the first stage of selection trials to pick the teams for the Sukan Malaysia this Sunday at the Kompleks Sukan Kg Pandan at 8.00am.
All interested men and women players below the age group of 21 would be eligible to attend the trials. All trainees must be residents of the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya or Labuan.
Kabaddi has been included at the Games to be held at the Bukit Jalil Sports Complex from 28th May until 11th June 2011.
The other sports picked by the National Sports Council to be contested at the Games are baseball, netball, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, equestrian, golf, judo, canoe, cricket, fencing, rowing, table tennis, rugby, silambam, snooker and billiards, softball, tennis, handball, woodball, synchronised swimming and water polo.
